Google TV Is Getting Snubbed
I earlier asked the question: Will Google Succeed with TV Where Apple and Microsoft Have Fallen Short ? Well it seems that Google is also having a rocky road, at least according to Rick Munarriz at the Motely Fool. Apparently Google had no problem lining up A-list hardware partners. Logitech.

This post likely will be quite a bit different because I'm convinced that most people have used different search tools enough that they are pretty comfortable with their current search behaviors. My intent here is to possibly expand the options for the average knowledge worker to be able to search a bit better than they do today.

How relevant are communities of practice in a network age?

If I have a question about Friendfeed functionality I will not post in my network, but I will go to their feedback room. Over and over, I've written about new interfaces to search. Google's recent introduction of Latitude gets us closer. few snippets and thoughts: First, the big type on Google's site says this: "See where your friends are on a map." Location + personal data + friend network + AdWords = major commerce and marketing opportunity.

Nancy White has a post called Communities, networks and what sits in between , which links to a video with herself and the effervescent Robin Good …I am intrigued by the sweet spot between networks and communities. Similar to the concept of Facebook and LinkedIn, it’s a social network with a groups feature. Related.
