Building a Life and Business of Character
don’t think it’s an easy feat to stay connected to our core values and who it is that we want to be. Maybe it’s wishful thinking, but I hope there comes a time when I can focus much less on the things I hope to do and much more on the person I want to be.

Do Web 2.0 tools help personal effectiveness?
WissensWert is running a blog carnival on personal effectiveness as it relates to Web 2.0 For a simple example, I still check new RSS feeds, but I find it best to delete them after a week or two if I am not getting any value personally: content is repetitive or uninteresting to me.
How does the personal learning process of acquiring the new work practice happen?
I like the idea of this Blog Carnival, even though I have never really figured them out. tools.

The personal value of blogging
Considering past discussions about blogging , here is another take on the value of blogging by Dirk Singer and why it isn't dead just yet or being replaced by Twitter. He lists some reasons why he finds it valuable, which I’ll summarise as follows: To create a dialogue with like minded people; To gather and collect information; To practice and fine tune writing skills; and Build personal brand. I actually see a strong element of Personal Knowledge Management in these benefits, but lets not get caught up with definitions. Overall, these are all good
