Org Charts in an E2.0 Context ?
Not everyone is automatically able to participate in the flows of networks, or ’social business’, a couple of weeks after learning how to link and publish, etc. Most Why not have the flows defined with loops and warts and all ready to be refined daily as the organisations learns and grows?

I don’t think traditional hierarchy-pyramid organization charts are going away any time soon. Nor do I think they should.

MySpace is organising events for mothers to discuss topics of common interest. This morning I moderated an AIMIA event on social media and user generated. It was extremely interesting.

The emergence of Serendipity 2.0 and Innovation 2.0
I may be researching a few blog posts for my draft post on topicA, and links from post to post take me on another discovery, and I end up drafting 5 new posts…as I investigate these accidental findings I learn.
To learn more Rod has a paper called, Turning Knowledge Workers into Innovation Creators .
ain’t set up for serendipity, nor innovation In the past many discoveries and innovations have come by accident or by chance, rather than a team hurting their heads with too much innovation think, “no matter how much I try I just can’t think of an innovation”.

Five Technology Tools for Capturing and Sharing On-the-Road Learning
This got me thinking this morning about the right tech tools for this kind of trip, which, in turn, led me to think about how learning needs to get out of the office and into the field. Learning on the Road
For me, that implies that as learning professionals we need to get into the field where people are doing their work and start capturing what people are doing and how they are doing My 20 year-old daughter, Jess, is preparing for a 2-week cross-country trip during which she and three friends will be conducting a sort of Web 2.0 trip through Middle America to San Francisco

It’s not all about the tech - why 2.0 tech fails
In the beginning of my talk, I showed screenshots of library blogs that haven’t been posted to, MySpace pages that haven’t been logged into, and podcasts that haven’t had new episodes in years. heard a horror story from a library that entrusted one staff member with running their MySpace profile and when she left under not-so-friendly circumstances, she refused to give anyone at the library the login information for their profile.
