Learning 2.0 Strategy
Over the past two years, I've worked with start-ups and corporations around the world who are grappling a bit with the impact of Web 2.0 on learning. One of the more interesting aspects of this is that I've really changed and refined what I advise both audiences in terms of their learning 2.0 strategy. But, here's what I see in terms of a CLO perspective.

Learning 2.0
If you read some of the predictions for 2009 that were compiled by Lisa Neal Gualtieri at eLearn Magazine, you may have noticed that people foresee a resurgence of informal learning, especially in new, e-mediated forms. While I agree that many people have developed some savvy with really cool tools, using those tools for learning is a different skill set. But let’s be cautious. At the top of the eLearn Mag list, Alison Rosset predicts “More technology, but not necessarily more sense about how to use it.”

Technical Aptitude, the Digital Divide, and Learning 2.0
am in a class this summer called “Designing Online Collaborative Learning”. took the class because I wanted to become more familiar with how the principles of group theory could be applied to a Learning 2.0 After completing a survey, we were put into groups to create a lesson that has learners define factors that make Computer Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL) successful, create causal maps, create a shared theory of CSCL, do research to support that theory, and finally This post has been bubbling in my brain for about two weeks. Costs to Learning 2.0
That post is about where are all these users who are supposedly chomping at the bit to use Web 2.0 Just because we have the “L 2.0″ The things I am learning in my class this semester are helping me to think of ways to overcome the objections, but there is still alot of work to do.
