Google Chrome - have to have a play
Google Chrome came out today in beta (of course) and instead of doing my to do list tasks, I had to download it and play with it. No delicious tag plugin. had three motivations. From a selfish perspective, my main motivation is the crashing of firefox for the tab-addicted like me. My second motivation is I’m simply curious.

KeyHubs and Google Wave Are Looking Interesting
A few things that have popped up recently that have me excited to explore further: KeyHubs for Mapping Informal Networks Via a Delicious save from Beth Kanter , I found this article on mapping networks--an interesting read in itself. Google Wave Although it won't be ready until later this year, Google Wave looks REALLY interesting.

A Week Without Google
My daughter is taking a New Media Research studio class at NYU where (somewhat to my dismay), she's learning about using RSS and Delicious. At any rate, this week's assignment is a doozy-- A Week Without Google. For me, I would go insane without Google Search, Gmail, Google Docs and Google maps. What do you think?

Microsoft vs Google in the Search Wars
Google didn't knock Alta Vista off the top by copying their business model. And that all said, I still wouldn't underestimate MS, Google isn't the only one who can create 'waves'** under cover I suspect the ol' Google vs Microsoft debate will rumble on for a few years yet.
