Collaborative Thinking: Lotusphere 2008: Social Computing Chess Match
My "thinking out loud" thoughts below: Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 is sweeping through the industry like no other software product that Ive seen since the early hey-days of Lotus Notes. IBM is taking it on the chin right now re: SharePoint. Virtually every client I talk to is looking at MOSS as some level.

Interesting comment below regarding a little debate between Sam Lawrence of Jive Software and Lawrence Liu of Microsoft regarding the recent SharePoint conference. If CodePlex is not your "cup of tea" then you can look for third-party vendors that have integrated their social software tools with SharePoint. Problem solved.

NewsGator Acquires Tomoye
Tomoye has also been one of the vendors placing bets on SharePoint (as has NewsGator) so the deal is synergistic in that regard. Your Favorite Portals and KM Posts for Last Quarter and Last Year
Last year at about this time I started using Google Analytics. and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) – 2006*. A few days ago this blog passed the 500,000 page view mark. It took almost five years to get there and I know some bloggers do this in a month but it does feel like a milestone. Now I do not see stopping.
