My position for some time has been that the next release will be a tipping point for Microsoft's social computing efforts. Reader Feedback: Social Computing Platforms (IBM & Microsoft)
Both IBM and Microsoft tout their respective products as first-class social computing solutions. SharePoint on the other hand is a broadly horizontal platform with capabilities that span well-beyond social computing. My post yesterday on the E2.0 tutorial was pretty popular. Both vendors eagerly agreed to this idea and format. Comment.
